About John Herman Insurance Agency
John has been in the insurance industry since 1967. In 2006 he decided to form his own independent insurance agency in order to offer more choices and more competitive rates to his customers. John has now taken a step back and handed the reigns to his daughter Missie. We have access to dozens of companies so we can find you the best rate and coverage for your unique needs.

MISSIE

Licensed Agency Manager
Missie is John & Peggy's daughter. She has worked off and on with her dad since high school. She got licensed in 2003 and has been managing the agency since 2023. She enjoys spending time on the Mississippi river with her family all year long. She hopes to someday take over the business when her parents retire.
PEGGY
HERMAN
Licensed Office Manager
Peggy is John's wife and joined him in the business in 2006 as our office manager. She enjoys spending time at the lake and crocheting.

Semi-Retired Agent
John has been in the insurance business since 1967. In 2006, he decided to make a big change and started an independent insurance agency. In 2023 he has taken a step back and is now semi-retired. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time at his cabin.

Licensed Agent Assistant
Melissa has been working in the insurance industry since 1997. She and Missie have been friends since they were 12, so she is also like a member of the family. She enjoys camping, vacationing and spending time with her children and grandson.
